When it comes to dating, women are more conscious on what to wear, how to project, what to say, etc. Even the most confident women experience some sort of anxiety attack, especially on a first date. Ok, the first thing you have to remember girls, relax and always be yourself. However, that doesn’t mean that you will be complacent and not be doing something to prepare. What are the things you have to keep in mind?

• Know your date and be at your best. If he is someone you knew before, much better. If he is someone you just met online or totally stranger to you, then you really have to prepare. You have to prepare yourself, either to have total fun or get disappointed. Remember, you cannot always get a quality guy. Nevertheless, if you know your date, less effort on you to make some preparations for your hair style, dress, make up, and so on and so forth. Guys want their women to be the best they can be in their simple and yet charming ways.
• Be punctual. When we say punctual to women, just be on time. Not too early, or not even late. Punctuality does not come with gender; it is a matter of self discipline and commitment. And mind you, it would reflect on your date how punctual and responsible you are with your time.
• Give compliments. Do not forget to say something good to your date. Be sincere because your nonverbal actions are more visible than your verbal words. Don’t say it when you don’t even mean it.
• Engage him in stimulating conversations. Guys get boring easily. Remember that you are not talking with your girl friends, ok? There are girly things that will not interest your guy. As I have said, if you knew your date somewhere before, then much better. In that way you already have concepts in your mind what are the things to talk about. Therefore, it is a challenge for you to find some commonality between you and your date.
• Be honest. Honesty in the sense that you are not so tactless. Be honest when you tell your story, not a deeper story about yourself but rather the basic things he need to know from you. When he ask you for another date, don’t be too easy to get. Likewise when you feel you don’t like him to be your date again, then tell him honestly in a way that he will not get offended. If you don’t have the guts, then do not answer directly, but do not give a statement that would give him false hope.

Going back to day one of your marriage when you said your vows up to the last moment you are trying to patch up things to work out for your family, is it him alone who can be blamed?
