A high percent of women look forward to having a good marriage. A man who believes in the old saying that “Men are born polygamous” will most likely practice his belief along his married life. It’s a good find to have a man committed on the ideals of marriage vows and do his part of the bargain for a successful relationship even when he knows that marriage is not always a bed of roses.

Remember Dates

Although women are complex creatures, you’ll be amazed at how simply we can be pleased. It’s always heartwarming for us to know that men remember the day when we first met or our first date. Most of us keep special dates sacred and will surely appreciate men who keep in mind important dates and even the less significant ones.

Make A Woman Special

Men should understand that showering us with expensive gifts and treating us to fancy restaurants aren’t the greatest things that make us feel special. Simple things like bringing us flowers, even the inexpensive ones, for no occasion at all would lift our hearts up. Cooking our favorite food and serving it with candlelight would bring the sweetest smile in us. Even the simplest gesture of giving an unexpected call saying “I love you” or “Take care” would make us feel extra special.

Appreciative

Generally, women like to be appreciated. We really go extra mile in doing things to make our men happy. Although we don’t normally ask for a “thank you”, we long for words of appreciation. Simple remarks like “How nice of you to shine my shoes!”, “You have a nice hair style!” and “You look great!” would erase all the trouble and effort we put through and are sufficient enough to fill our desire for appreciation.

Has Deep Emotional Connection

Sometimes, men leave women guessing of their true feelings. It’s hard for us to know what men really want, whether it’s physical or emotional attachment. Usually, when women go into a relationship, we go “all in” and sometimes we don’t even think of the consequences. This is why we prefer men who are capable of deep emotional connection, those who are not afraid to gamble the possibility of getting hurt if things don’t work out right.

Trustworthy

Finding a man you can completely trust is like hitting a jackpot. There’s nothing more painful than discovering that the man you’ve trusted all your life betrayed you.  This is very important to women. We can sleep soundly knowing that wherever our man is, he can be absolutely trusted and wouldn’t cheat on us.  Generally, women are trusting, except those who have gone through the ordeal of betrayal. We somehow know that we can make a man trustworthy by trusting him; but once the trust is broken, it surely is very hard to mend.

The characters women desire in a man has not been fully changed over the years by technological advancement. It has not altered by men’s total misconception of us being materialists. We still long for a lasting relationship and look for a man that would complement our personality even if it takes a long while.
